i hate you, winter.
Winter sucks. February sucks the most out of all of the winter months. This is because there isn't really a wintery holiday to look forward to and we are far enough into the new year to realize that we won't succeed in our resolutions for the rest of the year. Obviously, the cold sucks the most. I don't care who you are, nobody enjoys having their snot freeze to the cilia inside their nose and having their tears frozen to their face. How about the crappy roads? I'm pretty sure that everyone involved in the massive traffic jams and pile-ups over the last few weeks now hates winter as well. It's hard to see the silver lining when you are sleeping in your car overnight on the interstate when it's a whopping twelve degrees above zero. I wish global warming would hurry up and remove winter from our yearly itineraries.

What sucks about global warming is that not only does it warm up the planet overall but it gives more extreme fluctuations in weather patterns (more extremely cold days and more extremely hot days).
That's how the seasons work though. When it is freezing cold during the winter, you just want it to get warm out. But when it comes to the moist scorching summer days you just want a colder day. Maybe if the seasons were shorter than they are more people would be happy.
I hate to say it, but I actually love winter. By the end of January I'm ready for it to be over, but until then it's kind of fun. I just wouldn't feel right going a whole year without snow.
It would be amazing if there was snow on Christmas day and then by the next day it would be gone. I like to go sledding with family and that's all I like about it. Walking around campus in this weather sucks, and paying the outrageous heat bill every month isn't fun either-- considering I live on the first floor of a tri-level house.. I pay for their heat as well.
